Three Induction Motor in China

The three-phase asynchronous motor is a type of motor widely used in industrial and civil fields. It relies on the rotating magnetic field generated by the three-phase AC power supply to drive the rotor to rotate. The main components of the motor include the stator and the rotor. The stator is fixed and has three-phase symmetrical windings installed inside. When the three-phase AC power supply is turned on, the windings of the stator generate a rotating magnetic field. This rotating magnetic field induces current in the rotor, and the generated electromagnetic force drives the rotor to rotate.

The working principle of the three-phase asynchronous motor is based on the law of electromagnetic induction and the basic principle of the motor. Since the speed of the rotor is always slightly lower than the synchronous speed, this differential speed is called slip, hence the name asynchronous motor. It has a simple structure, reliable operation, easy maintenance, low cost, high power factor, and efficiency, and is suitable for constant speed operation. Compared with single-phase motors, three-phase asynchronous motors have better starting performance and running stability, and are suitable for equipment with large loads.

Due to its outstanding performance and economy, three-phase asynchronous motors are widely used in mechanical equipment such as fans, water pumps, compressors, conveyor belts, etc., covering almost all fields that require rotating mechanical power. In addition, with the development of power electronics technology, the use of frequency converters has significantly improved the speed regulation performance of three-phase asynchronous motors, further expanding their application scope.
